Knowing Jesus

Giving my life to Jesus Christ is the best thing that has ever happened to me! As I desired to know God and live for Him, one of the first things I did was get to know Jesus Christ and give my life to Him. There are benefits to being in Christ.

I am loved  (John 3:16)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. God loves you unconditionally. It is because of love that God wants you to have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. You are a new creation in Christ! Change may not take place overnight, but change is taking place every day in your heart, mind, soul and spirit when you surrender to Christ’s will and way, and apply the Word of God to your life.

I have hope (Psalm 25:5)

Hope helps you to envision what you cannot see. Hope helps you to change the narrative of any story. Without hope, there would be no need for alternate endings. Hope gives you the power to change your approach to a situation.

I am forgiven (Ephesians 1:7)

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace You do not have to walk in guilt and shame. In Jesus Christ, you are forgiven for your sins - past, present and future. Godly sorrow brings repentance, meaning that when you have done wrong and are convicted by the Holy Spirit to correct the situation, you will feel sorrow and repent of wrongdoing.

I am saved (Romans 10:9-10)

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. In Jesus Christ, you are saved. You don’t have to do any tricks or jump through any hoops to receive Jesus Christ in your heart. All you have to do is say “Yes” to Him.

How do I give my life to Christ?

Say “Yes” to Him.

If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and want to give your life to Him at this time or if you want to recommit your life to God, please say the prayer below:

Today, I confess and acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your love, Your mercy, and your grace. Dear God,, I believe that You gave Your one and only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins. I believe that Jesus rose on the third day, and because He rose, I have victory over death. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of salvation through Your Son Jesus Christ.
